NATURE TOURS
From Casale Le Crete you can organize many nature trips, as we are among Mount Velino (Nord), Simbruini Mountains and Abruzzo National Park Mountains (South); after a few kilometers along the motorway you can also reach the National Park of Gran Sasso and the National Park of Majella.
Walking directly from here you can reach (with signalled paths) the little village of Sorbo and from there the Corradino's Path, a long-distance path (80 km.) that from Scurcola Marsicana leads to Sante Marie, Carsoli, Tagliacozzo until the Sanctuary of S.S. Trinità in the region of Lazio. It's an interesting nature area, with beautiful panoramas (between 1.000 and 1.600 metres on the sea level). The whole path is signalled with white and red signs.

Other famous (more difficult) walks:
Mount Velino 15 min. by car, then 8 hours on foot, with a drop of 1600 meters
Celano's Gorges 20 min. by car, then 4 hours on foot
