WILLING WORKERS
Working for a week (or more), helping with the farm work, and in the spare time
resting in a quiet place, or walking in Abruzzo's mountains, and discovering
the local surroundings…
We give volunteers good vegetarian biological food and a bed. Volunteers give
back 40 hours of work per week, more or less, but without control, therefore
you must be very reliable.
We host volunteers in a single room, or in a wooden house near the main building.
Sometimes, when accomodation is not avaiable, you may be asked to sleep in a
tent.
Sharing the life means also to take part to home works: cooking, washing up,
cleaning your room, and so on. Usually we take turns. Volunteers must partecipate
in Casale's everyday life and help when there's need.
Rarely should problems arise, but if there are, both the willing worker or us
can decide to stop the collaboration before the agreed ending.
Work: you 'll be asked to work in the garden, in the bush, we have 2 ha. of
land; help us in the bed&breakfast when there are guests; maintenance; with
the animals (donkeys, geese, and so on); but even translations, secretary work
or web creation... we always try to follow your skill, but sometimes is not
possible...
At this time we need help with:
- cutting bushes to free uncultivated land
- building a labyrinth
- clearing an old path closed by vegetation
- painting doors and windows
- work in the vegetable garden and to feed animals
If you want to be a willing worker, write a mail describing which are your skills
and why you want to agree to our proposal.
